During Ramadan yesterday, we have trained ourselves to guard all forms of lust. If likened, Ramadan is our war to fight against the passions. In addition, Ramadan is also the most precious moment and pity to miss if without worshiping Allah SWT.
Today Ramadan has passed. However, that does not mean our struggle just finished. After the war, we must take care of what we have achieved. After struggling against an enemy named this lust, we must keep ourselves from being attacked again by the same enemy. And, one way to keep this self is to always carry out deeds that can increase the good deeds of virtue.
We can add virtue by multiplying the practice of the sunnah fasting. Among them:
1. Fasting six days in the month of Shawwal after Ramadan, based on the words of the Prophet SAW:
"Whoever fasts Ramadhan then accompanies him with a six-day fast in the month of Shawwal, so he is like carrying out the fast throughout the year." (Muslim Muslim from Ayyub al-Ansari ash)

2. Three-day fasting on ayyamul biidh (White Days, meaning the day where the full moon is) of every Hijri month, ie, 13.14, and 15, based on his sabd:
"Whoever carries out a three-day fast every month, then it is like fasting all year long." (Shahiih Sunan Ibni Majah, from Abu Dzarr ra)
If we observe a six-day fast in the month of Shawwal, it is recorded for us the full year fasting reward. If we fast for three days on a monthly basis, it is recorded for us another year's fasting reward.
3. Fasting 'Arafah, ie for people who do not perform Hajj. This fast eliminates sins for two years. The 'Ashura' fast (10th of Muharram) will abolish the sins of the year, as is the story of Saheeh from the Messenger of Allah (SAW).
