Ramadan is a special month for Muslims. The antics of all Muslims, both adults and children are clearly shining on their faces. Hearing the voice of Isa 'adzan' on the night of the 1st of Ramadan, all Muslims flocked to the mosque to perform the Isha prayers' and then continued Taraweh. Laughter jokes children in the mosque environment, as the spice of the festivities of the coming of Ramadan.
The atmosphere of the mosque is full of happiness. Fellow Muslim brothers greet each other, meet each other, nostalgic with the past Ramadan. Ladies and gentlemen, teenagers, and children meet mosque shof, which is usually empty.
Ramadan becomes an easy month to do good, easy to worship, easy to give to the poor, and easy to help others.
The coming of Ramadhan becomes more meaningful, when there is effort to prepare it. So, how should we welcome the month of Ramadan? Here are 3 Preparing for Ramadan:
First,
In the month of Sha'ban, Prayer begs to be submitted to our age until the month of Ramadan.

Do not let the Sha'ban Moon pass you by. As practiced by the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the Companions and Salafush Shalih in his day.
"O Allah, leave me to Ramadan and give Ramadan to me and You accept it to me with willingness." And also like a prayer that we often chant:
"O Allah, our rahmati in Rajab and Sha'ban month and deliver us to the Moon of Ramadan."
Second,
Fasting.
Fasting.
Ummul mukminin, Aisha said:
ما رايت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم استكمل صيام شهر الا رمضان وما رايته أكثر صياما منه في شعبان
"I do not see the Messenger of Allaah fasted for a whole month except Ramadan and I do not see him fasting much more than in the month of Sha'ban." (Narrated by Bukhari Muslim)
Third,
Paid fast last year's debt.
Fasting in the month of Ramadan is obligatory for Muslims. Unless there is an udzur for a Muslim to not fast, such as sickness and safar.

Fourth,
Reading the Qur'annya increasingly improved because the reward will be folded by Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala and practice it in everyday life so that Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala lowered him grace.

Fifth,
That is preparing the provision of knowledge, especially about the fasting fiqh. Because with science then the charity that we do will be awake. As Muadz ibn Jabal notes that: "You should pay attention to knowledge, for seeking knowledge because Allah is worship."

Sixth,
Preparing the soul, with the preparation of the birth and the mind in performing worship in the month of Ramadan with full adherence and sincerity for Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. So that when the fasting, our intention is not easily deterred by the trial-trial that can break the fast. Not only eating or drinking, but also things like gossip, adultery and other acts are forbidden.

Thus preparations that need to be prepared before Ramadan. May we be moved from a vain fasting, rewarded by Allah SWT. Do not let us just get hungry and thirsty. Aamiin.
