Watch Out! It's the Unpardonable People in the Month of Ramadan

Not only Muslims who are enthusiastic about the coming of Ramadan, Rasulullah SAW himself very happy when Ramadan will arrive. When Ramadan is just waiting for the day, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam hurriedly gave good news to his companions, he said:

قد جاءكم شهر رمضان شهر الجنة ويغلق

"It has come to you the month of Ramadan, the month of blessing, Allah requires fasting in it for you, open (in the month of Ramadan) the door of heaven and closed the door of hell, demons in bondage, inside there is one night more glorious than a thousand month. "[HR. Ahmad and Ibn Abi Syaibah, sanadnya shahih].

That is the Prophet SAW when welcoming the coming of Ramadan. There was a smile of joy, a burning spirit and a joy that emanated from him. Happiness the Prophet conveyed and distributed to all his people.

Happiness because of his longing to miss Ramadan. The joy of Allah's promise to forgive His servant. Great hope to be able to memasuji heaven through the door ar-Rayyan. Hope will be spared from the doom of hell. All that can be achieved as long as the Muslims want to prosper this holy month with practice and virtue.

Rasulullah SAW himself welcomed the month of Ramadan by multiplying the fast on the Moon Sha'ban. That he did in order to prepare himself to always piety to Allah SWT. Aisha radhiyallahu 'anha says:

"I do not find the Messenger of Allaah sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam fasting for a whole month except in the month of Ramadan, and I do not find him more fasting (sunnah) except in the month of Sha'ban." [Bukhari and Muslim]

When the month of Ramadan has arrived, Rasulullah SAW utilize the moment with the maximum. Enthusiasm in charity exceeds the other months. Night prayers, sunnah prayers and also in alms become more than in the months outside of Ramadan. Abdullah ibn Abbas radhiyallahu 'anhu described the generosity of the Prophet as a benefit of the wind that blows for life, he said:

كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أجود الناس وأجود ما يكون في رمضان .... الله عليه وسلم أجود بالخير من الريح المرسلة

"The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam is the most generous man, and more generous again in the month of Ramadan ... Really the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wasallam more generous with the goodness than the [benefit] of the wind that blows." Bukhari and Muslim]

That Rasulullah SAW exemplifies to us for always the spirit, happiness, and joy when the arrival of the month of Ramadan. He always worshiped with sincerity Lillahi Ta'la by hoping ridho from Allah SWT. Though he is a man who has removed his sins and guaranteed by Allah SWT into heaven. So naturally we imitate Rasulullah Muhammad SAW. Allah SWT says
Allah SWT says:

"Verily, it is in the Messenger of Allah that is a good example for you (grace) of Allah and (coming) of the Day of Judgment and the remembrance of Allah."
(Surah Al-Ahzab 33: Verse 21)

The month of Ramadan is a month that the Muslims are looking forward to. For Allah SWT bring blessings and forgiveness to His servant. In this month, it is the month to purify the sins we have committed so far by multiplying worship. Because the rewards of worship will remove the past sins.

However, not all Muslims are lucky with the coming of Ramadan. after we do the fast. The lucky ones are the ones who make the most of their worship in the month of Ramadan so their sins are forgiven. There are some Muslims who fail to get the degree of piety. The status of Takwa is a goal. The wretched Muslims are the unforgivable of their sins when they have the opportunity to worship in the month of Ramadan. That is people who do not want to worship God even if only by fasting to Allah. Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:

رغم أنف رجل دخل عليه رمضان فانسلخ قبل أن يغفر له

"It is unfortunate that someone who came to him the month of Ramadan, then passed, while his sins have not been forgiven." [HR. Tirmidhi and Ahmad, shahih]

Fasting in the month of Ramadan is fardhu 'ain. All Muslims are required to fast. Fasting is also a pillar of Islam, which if not implemented Islam is not legitimate. Indeed, doing fasting in Ramadan is not as smooth as expected. There must be trials that prevent us from fasting. For example the extreme season, the conditions of war, or the demands of work. However, Allah will not test a people beyond his ability.

Allah SWT says:

"Allah does not burden a person but according to his ability He receives (reward) from (good deeds) which he does and he gets (punishment) from (evil) which he does (We pray), O Lord our Lord, do not Thou our law if we forget or we make a mistake, our Lord, do not burden us with the heavy burden as You have burdened on the people before us, O Lord, do not Thou proclaim to us what we are unable to bear, Forgive us, forgive us, and grace us, you are our protector, then help us confront the disbelievers. "
(Surah Al-Baqarah 2: Verse 286)

Not performing fasting in the month of Ramadan is a big offense. Even based on Imam adz-Dzahabi Muslims who do not perform fasting are included in the tenth great sin. "And the (ulama) of the Muslims agree that whoever does not observe the fast of Ramadan without a clear and unobstructed reason is (the act) worse than (immorality) adultery and drinkers of wine, even doubt of Islam, and we think that they who abandons fasting for no reason) are hypocrites. "[See al-Kabair, p. 161].

Some scholars even call Muslims who do not fast in the month of Ramadan is a kafir. But that opinion is not an ijma '(agreement). But with this opinion, should cause a sense of worry for Muslims who will leave the fast.

Abdullah ibn Abbas radhiyallahu 'anhu said: "The foundation of religion there are three, recite the creed, establish the prayer, and fast in the month of Ramadan, whoever leaves one of the three things, then he has disbelieved." Abu Ya'la in his Musnad, Al-Lalaka'i in sunnah, mauquf]

Muslims who do not fast in Ramadan have various reasons that can be categorized into two things:

First: Lazy and Indeed Not Want to Implement.
This category is aimed at people lazy to fast and do not have a strong alibi in leaving it. Usually this kind of situation is caused by an environment that is very common (stupid) in religious matters, and caused by weak faith. For such groups it is necessary to explain to them the obligation of fasting and the threat to those who abandon it.

Second: Working Conditions.
This category is caused by heavy work, such as stone and building laborers, fishermen and others, especially if in very hot seasons. This hard-working group, sometimes it does not have strong faith, it is necessary to strengthen their faith and tawakalnya to Allah, and explained to them that heavy work is not a reason to leave the fast, so it is obligatory for him to fast with the Muslims.

This is the testament of our scholars among them Shaykh Abdul Aziz bin Baz rahimahullah: "The law of origin is obliged to fast, and start the day in fasting for all Muslims except those who receive rukhsah (sickness) like the sick, the traveler, and others. People who have heavy jobs fall into the fasting class, it is obligatory for them to fast. If you are unable to continue your fast (because of the emergency), then let him break his fast and then continue his fast, and replace him at another time, as for the one who is capable and not in an emergency, it is obligatory for him to complete the fast.
